Jacopo is understanding that Siffrin is probably not used to phones... It's hard to become accustomed unless you start using them a lot. He doesn't know that he himself in Heaven just never used the phone much. ]

I've talked to a couple of people and East about them. I'm going in with expectations and it being worse than what I expect.

If you don't get too comfortable you can't be complacent, but not getting comfortable at all means you aren't going to notice certain things, too.

That's probably the best way to approach it. I've seen a lot of you come back from these things not even having a clue who you are, let alone who must of us are. They do something to your mind that... even logic can't always break. We just have to be prepared for anything and know we still won't be ready.

The risks of going on one more than once, too... [ Sinks into sofa chair. ] The excursions really do make it hard to prepare for but I know some have gone on trips where they still remember everything.

There's that, too, yeah. [ a nod to siffrin's point. ] It's going to be hard to say until we're there. And we don't know who is going, or who they'll be with, or if they'll be able to keep it together to get back out. I don't... think I've heard of anybody dying on these trips, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

... we did have someone not even a part of the project suddenly come back with a few of you on one though. That was weird.
