[ a little bit, just to take some edge off himself. sleepy smiley siff earns a genuine smile. ]
Seeing them enjoy themselves despite it all is definitely the best part.
But the promise of a bed is very powerful in terms of tearing me away from most things. [ among other stuff, but having a bed sounds sooooooooo nice like insanely nice actually. ] The floor's alright for a few nights, but thank Boddho for proper sleeping arrangements now.
I'm pretty sure you're not the only one. Everyone else is just as thrilled. ..I don't mind the floor myself. During my solo travels, I spent a lot of the time just sleeping under the stars. [ So they could make do erven without a bed. ] And to accommodate space, with my group we often shared beds, too.
At least these rooms will come with two beds in each.
I got a bit spoiled on board the Eudora. I think if I'd come straight from home I'd probably be better prepared "...
[ having a seat himself, he leans back a bit to think. ]
But it's a solid arrangement, I think what we have could be considered good bones. [ the absolutely necessities— ] How much traveling on your own did you do? Were you traveling to seek out somewhere in particular?
Mm.. makes sense. I did go back home for.. a pretty long while after my time in Heaven.
[ So any experiences that shaped them during Heaven loosened - or even, all together ended up forgotten.]
Would you say we are doing... bone-derfully? [ ..Hmm, even THAT was a bit of a stretch of a pun. A small scrunch of their expression but they're moving on. ] I started traveling... for as long as I could remember, which is basically most of my life. I didn't have any place in mind. I just traveled about anywhere. Saw Porteria, Ka Bue, probably a few other places but I mostly stayed in Vaugarde.
[ A thoughtful look. ] It wasn't until a couple of months ago I joined a group.
[ the look he gives them is indeed a "that's a stretch don't you think?" kind of smile, but still kind of letting out a little huff as they move onwards. the names are clearly unfamiliar, but he doesn't seem to mind hearing about them. in fact he lets out a low whistle. ]
Well-traveled it seems...
Doing it alol alone is both lonely but freeing, I can imagine... finding a group to travel with—do you think it improved your experiences? What are your friends like?
Been doing it since I was young so, I just went anywhere my feet could take me. Or by boat, of course.
[ Thinking... there's a warmer look, soft. Fond. ]
..I'd say it's improved it. I don't remember a time I've been happier since traveling with them, so. [ Ah... what they're like.. ] Well, there's five of us in total. First, there's Mirabelle. She's a sweet caring person, though she tends to get overly anxious over things - she's an amazing Housemaiden. She's one of those people who will readily support you for anything.
Having a family - is that not what you're used to most of the time? People you bind to, grow roots with... those who, while you may grow far, you are always connected.

A Housemaiden - what does that mean?
[ furrowing his brow a little. ]
She sounds like a pretty good person to have at your side.

[ basically priests and churches. but different wording, with their own beliefs. ]
