I never saw it reach this place, but the King was spreading a curse across all of the country Vaugarde. Everything it touched, and anyone, would freeze in time. It's why part of the sky is lightless night over in that direction.
To be frozen in time... was there some purpose to it? Some goal this king
had to enact such a thing?

..The people of Vaugarde welcomed the King, when he had nothing to remember, where he came from... where memories should come easily, came nothing. But they took care of him, loved him, gave him somewhere. He didn't want the same thing happening to Vaugarde that happened to his home.
