Artsy stuff like what? [ now he's curious? ] But yeah, I don't mind it if it's for a gift.
[ ...ah, right. it's complicated for those of them from heaven. ]
Sort of...? It was a different Jonas and Alex - different experiences and stuff, but they're still who they are. They're still my friends, even if they don't remember the same things I do.
Crafting paintings that animate a little, though you could do that with any inanimate object. Animate them in some way. Vaugardians like to animate their little Change God statues to dance.
[ Very complicated when one is Satan and makes you possessed to murder. ]
Alternate versions of themselves. Possibly from a different... [ Well, they remember the word Jonas used but unsure if that's one he has shared in general so. ] ..No. I can understand that. Had the Jonas you knew come here instead of the one from Heaven, I would feel the same way. Still a friend no matter what.
I think it's good that you can hold on and cherish a bond so much.
Making things animate? [ whoa… ] So you mean magic. That’s interesting… but I can’t do things like that. Magic wasn't even a thing in my world.
[ but. yeah. he nods. ]
Different timelines, different loops - one or the other, yeah. [ fondly, ] I think he’s just happy to have people to support him no matter what. But I always want to be there, as long as I can.
…When someone means a lot to me, I don’t let go of them that easily. They’re worth meeting again in every timeline.
Right. Back home, our magic is known as craft. [ A nod. They remember meeting quite a few with no magic. ] The interesting thing about Craft magic is, anyone would be able to learn and have it. Doesn't matter your age, or where you came from, everyone has it.
[ Listens to this, watching him, before humming a little. ]
..Sometimes, I think because he's so used to trying to take care of anything, he forgets to rely on that support. Seeing himself like a caretaker. So I think it's good for him to have people to remind him that he has others.
[ A softening look at that last line. ] He's lucky to have you.
Most people have different primary Crafts, but generally everyone has one. But nothing stops you from learning the other primary ones. For example, I'm Scissor Craft, but I know the other two primary ones along with some healing crafts.
[ Makes the scissors symbol with their hand. ]
..Mm. I definitely think it's a mutual thing. Gabe - [ ..Ah. They did it again. Sheepishly, they continue. ] Jonas I'm sure feels the same way.
Scissor Craft… [ mimicking the hand motion for a moment. ] What’s it do?
Well, if he does, then I think we’re in a good spot? We were good for each other, I think. All of us. I can’t imagine how much harder it must have been for him having to run something like this on his own.

[ like... is it something like breathing where everyone does it the same way?
he nods, though. ] Jonas was a little like that for us, too. More now that he's God, apparently, but. He always tried taking on a lot.
...I think it's more like I was lucky to have him and the others. But maybe it's a mutual thing.
