[She can't miss it. It's the same glance everyone gives her, surreptitious and on alert. Concerned. Pitying. Empathetic.
Sometimes it warms her, to know that they won't shut her out. Other times she wishes they would.]
What do you normally make? [She'll take a seat next to them, looking at it curiously.] You could try to challenge yourself with something new, or get back into the swing of things with something familiar?
[Pause.]
Do you mind if I watch you work a while? I've only ever made myself bows and arrows. And things to start fires, you know. Things for surviving, not just to create something.
[ There's a considering hum, smiling warmly at her as she takes a seat, showing what he has currently. There's no real shape or form to it, it's only started after all but. ]
Back home, I made a figurine of a friend. Something that looks just like her. Or at least to the best of my ability. In Heaven, I kinda did.. a mix of that and other things? I've whittled flowers, animals, people.. things I thought would fit people.
[ At that pause, their head tilts, before their look softens. ]

[ A small chuckle, before he does his best to teach. But he's a little particular about it... showing the ways to whittle, the way he comes to careful and extreme detail.. but as he whittles, he does start to mumble things. Like a ritual of sort.
