[ out of sheer helpful boy instinct, strohl immediately drops to a knee to try and catch the chao before it eats total shit, and to try and knock the coffee away so neither of them (or siffrin, who he is currently unaware of) end up covered in hot drink so badly they could sue for it. ]
The chao watches sadly as the coffee is knocked away, precious bean juice scattered on the ground, and even though it is safe and sound it will peer up at Strohl like it's about to cry.
Siffrin comes over after, which the chao takes the opportunity to run and hide under their cloak. ] Sorry, they've been trying to give everyone else that comes in a cup of coffee. You didn't get any on you, did you?
[ But now it's ruined and the baby is consequently Embarrassed. ]
Oh, they're fine, really. I wouldn't.. worry too much about it? If because - [ The chao immediately runs off, teary-eyed, going to the counter and supplying themselves with a new fresh cup of coffee and coming back to Strohl to hold out said cup to him with a curious coo. ]
..They will have forgotten about it already. [ Yeah. ]
[ A quiet thoughtful sound. Stretching legs is nice but of course Siffrin likes passing the time with naps. Tired as they always look with heavy bags under their eye. ]
Mm... the hiking trail is nice. It's good to see some kind of outside. Even though we're still technically stuck inside, well... [ Gestures to the terminals and everything. ]
