If you don't get too comfortable you can't be complacent, but not getting comfortable at all means you aren't going to notice certain things, too.

That's probably the best way to approach it. I've seen a lot of you come back from these things not even having a clue who you are, let alone who must of us are. They do something to your mind that... even logic can't always break. We just have to be prepared for anything and know we still won't be ready.

And we don't know who is going, or who they'll be with, or if they'll be able to keep it together to get back out. I don't... think I've heard of anybody dying on these trips, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened.
