There's a few places we could see but. If you want to see my friends, every start of the loop they were always in their same positions. [ A weird way to say it. As used to it being a play as they were. ] Mirabelle is.. over by that bench, in front of the library. Odile is in the shop, Bonnie is in front of the field to the east of the village whereas Isabeau to the west by the Favor Tree.
[ There's a small pause at the mention of the Favor Tree but they don't say any more than that. ]
... guess that makes sense. At the start of ours, we'd usually either be on the way to the ferry or already on it. [ so no, it's weird, but he gets it. ]

[ A small nod. ] It's because I went for a nap, so Mirabelle would come greet me, tell her to come meet her. So she'd settle in front of the library, looking over her papers.
Odile made plans to stock up on things we need at the shop for tonight. Isabeau would stay by the Favor Tree, trying to think of something to wish for. But he never does think of something. And Bonnie is.. well. Being a preteen. Keeping to themselves, thinking too much.
So really... it's that this happened the first time. And then when the loops started, to recreate the same scenario and not tell the other people in the loop they were looping, everyone had to go through the same motions. See the same things, say the same thoughts, everything. If they went somewhere else, the loop would change or, possible, stall and not move forward.
[ There's no interruption, but once he finishes, they do smile at him. It's a very tired kind of smile. Not because of Jonas, but because of this whole situation they had found themselves in. ]

[ Siffrin doesn't meet his gaze. Perhaps because of shame? Guilt? Knowing once it's apparent, obvious what happened, it'll be obvious how horrible Siffrin is. Terrible. ]
...I wanted to stay with them forever. [ Their friends- their family. ] Being with them... is the happiest I can remember being. I didn't want our journey to end.
[ he's just... trying to think this through, mostly. ]
... even if that part of the journey was over, that didn't have to be goodbye, did it? Wasn't there a way to stay together after you saved the country?
[ Because what if they were the only one that felt that way? What if they were the only one that the journey meant more than anything to? It is hard to ask someone to stay. ]

..I couldn't hurt them. And admitting it was.. terrifying. But, eventually, yes. I was able to be.
